Mountainside, NJ – Expansion of Backyard
To help maximize and expand upon the usable space of this small and sloped backyard, a landscape design was executed to create a two tiered living space. After excavation, the removal of specified trees, and the consideration for water flow, large bluestone steps were installed to transition from the existing entertainment space to a newly formed grassy meadow. Boulder and lush pockets of groundcover help to maintain the woodland feel of the surrounding environment.
