Berkeley Heights, NJ – Full Backyard Makeover
The objective of this backyard transformation was to maximize the use of our customer’s “outdoor living space,” while maintaining functionality and the woodland feel of the surrounding environment. We began by expanding the backyard and creating a boulder retaining wall to provide more usable space for our customer. A drainage solution was carefully implemented to both protect the home and to help accommodate the changing pattern of water flow due to our renovation. To further achieve the objectives of the project, many natural elements of stone were then chosen, complemented by plantings and soft lighting to provide an attractive and soothing escape from the daily stresses of life. A fire pit, seating walls and the introduction of lawn areas were constructed to make the backyard more conducive to entertaining.
